Vineyards over St. Saphorin
St. Saphorin is a small town with many vineyards surrounding. Located across the tracks from the train stop, we literally walked through the town without seeing a soul and then proceeded up the walkway and through the winding vineyards. This shot is looking back at the town and overlooking Lake Geneva.
Abby of St. Gall
The Abby of St. Gall is located in the northeastern part of Switzerland. A small town (St. Gall) is home to the Abby since the 8th Century and the Abby Library is one of the oldest in the world. There you can find some of the oldest manuscripts existing on parchment. Not only can you "not touch" but you must remove your shoes and put on felt shoes that will not damage the floor.
